SIP desk phones for Gyms and studios
A SIP phone on the location rings when gyms and studios want a handset, not only a browser tab. Calls about a member calling about a class or a membership can land on that desk.
Where the phone is added
Gyms and studios add the SIP phone on the location. The phone registers to that location and rings with it.
When a desk phone is the right desk
Use it for a front desk that should hear every call about a member calling about a class or a membership even if the browser is closed. People who move around can still use the browser phone.
What you do not type in
You do not paste a carrier SIP URI into the page. The console creates the phone credentials for the location. Save the password when it is shown.
FAQ
Can gyms and studios use a browser and a desk phone?
Yes. The location can ring a SIP phone and people can also answer in the browser if they are allowed to take calls.
Does the desk phone work after hours?
The location hours still apply. Closed hours go to voicemail unless a forward sends the call to another number.
